I found this recipe on Pinterest and followed it back to Fitsugar and then sweetonveg.com.
Avocado and Strawberries With Balsamic Vinegar
Serves 1
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 an avocado, cubed
- Balsamic vinegar, to taste
- Sea salt, to taste
- Drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
In a bowl, drizzle strawberries with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Next add a sprinkle of sea salt and gently stir. Let strawberries sit while cutting avocado into cubes. On a separate plate, place the cubed avocado. Top with balsamic strawberries and serve. It is as easy as that.
I actually skipped the olive oil and sea salt and it was still very tasty.
Avocado is one of those MUFA foods that has good fats, lots of fiber, and is therefore a flat belly staple. Plus, it is a FRUIT! How did I not know that?
This is the Lululemon Ta Ta Topper, which I really like. The side view pic is with the torso material pulled kindof down instead of billowed together. I saw that it was uploaded in orange, which I think is too bright for me, but this purple might be a keeper. I ended up not wearing it, and it was a good thing because someone else today was wearing it in black! Of course, she was in size 4, so I'm going to try not to let it bug me. My mini-goal of eating clean for a few days went really well. This is a crazy week coming up, with a birthday, goodbye dinner, last minute doctor appts and parties, so my new goal: eat very clean so those events don't have such a big impact. This means planning out my meals and snacks very carefully.
