Favorite Lululemon Shirt Ever?

Long sleeve Cabin. At least, I think that is the name. It is reversible, heavy enough to be warm but still light enough to layer, soft as butter, and I wish I had more than two. This purple one is a little faded. I "save" my black one and don't wear it. I feel like I have had it forever and don't know a comparable shirt.  I wore it with an old pair of groove pants to take the puppy for a long, long walk. My workout today is cleaning the house and it is nasty.

But, BREAKING BAD IS OVER! I am so sad. The show ended, and I just went, "Of course. That's how it should end." I wish I had more Jesse and one last Saul line, but I can be happy with Badger and Skinny Pete. Walt threatening Eliot and Gretchen was just brilliant. Finding Walt in the kitchen with Skyler, I think I stood up. The good news is I am starting from episode 1 with my daughter who never saw the beginning. And it only gets better. I think I am in withdrawal. Thank you Vince Gilligan for a wonderful show.

Heart Opener Tank and another plateau

Let's all say a big boo hoo to another plateau. I can think of a lot of other things that I would like to say instead, but I think in order to keep this PG, I will keep them to myself. I know that I am doing everything right, and I actually lost a little weight, so I just have to keep on doing what I am doing and being patient. Which is not my strong suit, but I am determined. I think the extra activity with the puppy is making a difference, since we now go on a 1.2 mile walk each morning, in addition to all the other mini-walks. Still. Every day is important and every meal counts. Of course, it is my birthday and we are going to New Orleans for family weekend, so there is a slight glitch in that way of thinking.

Here is the Lululemon heart opener tank that I wore to Kick this morning. Pros: the fabric is super soft and it looks a little different from other tanks with the buttons and back. Cons: the fabric is a little too clingy for me, even though it is a bit drapey. As a result, I was very self-conscious about bulges. Also, I had a little trouble getting the straps to stay in place and they slipped off my shoulder a little bit. Perhaps with different bottoms (these are the mod moves crops, which are a bit tight in the waist) the tank would flow better. So, I 'm not entirely sure that I love this tank. I bought another one that might go back.... I'm waiting on a bunch of stuff I ordered from the last upload, which should be here Tuesday afternoon and then I can decide.

Actually, after looking at these pictures, I really hate the way I look. Love the energy bra though! What are your thoughts? Yay or nay?

Lululemon 105 Singlet and tabata

I kindof like taking pictures from the back because I raise my arms up to get a good shot and voila, no back fat. Anyway, as you know I love the 105 singlet and am waiting for more colors. That light color that just came out doesn't count. The fabric is so soft and it is drapey enough to be flattering. I found this was a size down top because otherwise you could see all of my bra from the back and I don't want to do that to the person behind me! This is actually the grey that I think is still available online.

Just a quickie post because I have to take my daughter apple picking. Actually, she is going to drive and I am going to fret in the passenger seat. That is a workout in itself. I did tabata this morning and am ready to crash, so I am almost happy to be a passenger. We go through 10 tabatas and a warm up and cool down. That is 2 too many, because I start to slow down after about 8. But then I say to myself it is only 20 more seconds, 20 more seconds, and it sometimes works.

Pictures of the Lululemon Power Y and shake and bake shorts

I have a second, so here is the Power Y LUON with my studio pants (I"m drinking my coffee trying to wake up, so I think that is the name of them. I wear them all the time and they are super cozy and have great pockets.) I don't think this tank would look as good without the cups, which in this case are very flattering and natural looking. I'm not sure if the cups are just as good in the Luon light. Does anyone have experience with this? The fabric is just perfect and I'm ready to cut the tag on this tank. :)

Here are the shake and bake shorts. Not as flattering as the track attack, but I like the pattern, fit and pockets. The material isn't my favorite, and I'm not sure if I am going to keep this pair. The fit seems a little weird around the crotch.
Have to get dressed for cold (walk the puppy) then hot (yoga). I miss summer!

I know what I said about Group Power, but

I ended up going today and all I can say is, "OUCH." We did the track with the crouch, instead of lunges, and I think I have to do that exercise on my own. Such a small movement and such a big burn. So, yeah, I have to figure out how to get this into my weekly schedule. Rather than heavy up on my squat weight, I went with my chest press weight and actively thought about just going deeper. It was very effective and I felt a lot of it in my glutes rather than quads, which is just fine for me. I look at a lot of the women in the class with heavy weights and they are barely moving. As usual, the shoulder track was impossible. I have to remember to do those exercises on my own, too. And the biceps. Yup, pretty much the whole class.

Anyway, I wore my Lululemon black will pants and purple vneck swiftly. And the scuba with holes from my puppy. Oops. That was supposed to be a "just around the house" sweatshirt. I decided to try the pants rolled up instead of all scrunchy, and I think I like this look better. I don't really love the way I look in those pants. I think I look better with a flare, which is why I gravitate to the groove pants. I think they make me look stumpy. But, the luon is thick, the waist is high, and it has pockets. Need I say more?  I had underneath my 50 rep bra, which I still love, and hope to see back in stores again one day soon.

What did you think of last night's upload? I almost ordered the 105 singlet in angel wing, but worry that it is going to be sheer. Has anyone tried it yet? I ended up with two CRBs, the ziggy in grey and the hyper stripe angel wing. I have a feeling that the angel wing will go back and I will exchange it for the black hyperstripe. I don't know what I was thinking since I usually end up wearing black anyway. When the puppy goes to sleep I will try on my loot from the weekend. I want to see how the heart opener tank and power Y in luon look on. That heart opener is so darn cozy! By the way, I'm still airing out the Mat. How long does that take? But, trying clothes on might be more than I am capable now. I've already gone on a huge walk with the dog, visited the dog park, vacuumed half the house, and taken Power. I might finish the rest of Argo and try on the clothes later.

two pictures to share and keep me honest

It's one thing for me to look at myself in the mirror and another to post pictures of me for the world to see. So here goes....

Oh, first the waistband of my new groove pants. Love, love, love, although no one every sees it right?

Cuddle up hoodie I scored on Ebay ages ago. Perfect for these cool, crisp New England mornings. My black Will pants. Being short, I have mixed feelings about these because there is an awful lot of material gathered at the bottom. I feel kindof dumpy. But on the other hand, I love the high waistband and POCKETS.

Another barre class and another Lululemon store trip

Where to start first? What a crazy weekend.

Lululemon was MOBBED on Sunday. As bad as the Apple store (I needed new iphone chargers as ours frayed). I picked up my groove pants and do love them, although as I said before,  the material is not as heavy and compressive as old Luon, but at this point, it is what it is. I saw a woman at the gym wearing the Heart opener tank and of course, I had to try it on, and of course, I had to come home with two (stripe and dark grey). The material is soft and buttery and reminds me of the clarity tank (which I wear out to "nice" places and refuse to sweat in it). I also picked up a power Y in LUON (not luon light) and have to try it on at home to see for real. I had told myself that I was going to stay away from tanks that have built in bras, but as you can see, no willpower whatsoever. I did break down and get The Mat, which is airing out in my son's room. Good thing he is away at college. I can't believe I just said that!

Today is my rest day, but I took my puppy for a long walk instead. It is very cold here this morning (48), and I realize that I need to dig out some earwarmers and gloves soon. I wore my Will pants in black (pockets!!), a yucky tee shirt, and my cuddle up hoodie. All was good, but my ears were cold since the wind was blowing. I tried a short run with the puppy and my left leg still was funky. It's a good thing that I have all this cold weather running clothes, because the puppy and I will be out this winter for sure. I don't think I'll be running.

I liked the barre class and am amazed at how quickly my arms burn out with light weights. As much as I love Power, I am a little sick of it and do worry about all that weight for squats. In a perfect world, I would have one day of power and one day of barre and one day with my trainer. That's a good goal, right? I wore sneakers during the barre class because I always wear my shoes with orthotics or my feet end up hurting. I did see a woman wearing fun socks that were grippy and noticed that Lululemon has socks like that. Has anyone tried it?

I must go watch Breaking Bad now. I know that I can't watch this before I go to bed because I would never fall asleep. No spoilers, please.

another barre class and a quick store report

I took another barre class with a different instructor and had so much fun. I think there was a little less ballet and more actual muscle work. We used straps, balls, weights and the barre. I have no idea if this class, or the one I took the other day, is more typical to barre, but I loved it. In fact, she burned out my shoulders with rinky dinky 3 lb weights within minutes. And my abs were shaking very quickly with the ball. All in all, it was a very quick hour and I think I got a lot out of it. Trying it again Sunday.

Just returned from the fastest ever trip to Lululemon and here is what I thought/tried on.

Bend and Flow tank- I was so short on time, one look at the straps and I just passed.

Ebb and Flow tank- I can see why everyone thinks it is so comfy and it was flattering, but just not enough support for the girls. I think I am better off sticking to tanks that can go over the bra of my choice (energy).

Scuba Angel wing- I kindof knew going in that this was going to be a problem because I really love this pattern. Since the puppy put a hole in my yellow scuba, I rationalized this away. Please don't remind my how just a few days ago I said I would never wear one. Ha.

Textured skinny will- I tried them on and they were just okay. I think they were a touch sheer and I really just wanted to see what they looked like on. I felt like I was wearing patterned tights, like Wolford. They were fun but I think basic black, dark navy or dark grey are better colors for me on the bottom. I tend to like patterns on top, as they can be distracting. My daughter would love these pants and be able to wear it.

Vinysasa scarf- ok I'm going to watch the silly youtube tutorial and see if this works for me. I have often thought that being short, it is an awful like of scarf, but I"m willing to try. Not sure where I would really wear it, though.

Ziggy racerback- I tried a size down, since that was the only one left, and it was definitely too tight. The material wasn't that buttery soft fabric that I like. That being said, if it was in a grey or black, I'd be all over it.

The whole urbanite line: just gave it a passing glance since I was in so much of a rush.

It was so cold yesterday morning, I grabbed my grey, sparkle cuddle up hoodie. Oh, now that needs to come back!

Tomorrow the smaller size ruffle up racerback comes out and then I'll decide if the length is really too long. Still hoping for 105 singlet.

Should I change the title of my blog?

Too injured to run?

I have to say, the only times I really miss running are when it is a gorgeous day and everyone is out running. Or that sense of accomplishment I get when I'm done. Or, when I see all the fun races (like zombies in New Orleans). Or, when I see great running clothes. Or, the ability to say, "I'll be back I'm going for a quick (haha) run." Or, when I drive 3 miles and say that I can run that.

But, I'm not sure the legs can handle it and there are other ways to get my fitness in without so much impact.

These are the thoughts that periodically run through my head... and now I write them down so I can see them and remember that although the first paragraph is long, the second one is the important one.

On that note, tomorrow power yoga, thursday I'm going to try Barre with a different instructor, Friday power yoga or group power, and Saturday, if I'm feeling the love, then tabata and some weights on my own. That's my plan! And I'm sticking to it!

By the way, I wore my Lululemon No limits tank and I had to do jumping jacks with the ropes. Either I need to size down or this is a tank better suited for No impact whatsoever. Be warned.

My two cents on the lastest Lululemon upload

Of course, by the time I wake up and get moving and get the puppy moving, items have already sold out. Lululemon shoppers are crazy! So this is my rundown of what I think and what I bought. Ready?

Bend and Flow: Looks great on the model, but that would never work for me. I need more support and those straps aren't going to do it. Although it looks pretty great in the black. I think I would have to see it in a store.

Skinny Will pants in plum and textured: Love! I have black and inkwell and would love to take the plunge on plum. Thinking about it....Although staying away from pants right now.

Modern racerback: None of these colors are doing it for me. I do really like this tank and it reminds me a bit of the 105 singlet, that I am still hoping for, but I'm able to pass on this one.

Scuba: The print looks great, assuming all the lines match up, but this hoodie is really too tight and too short for me.

Shake and bake shorts: Yes, I broke down on this pattern. Of course, I needed a winter coat last night to take the puppy out, so they will sit in my drawer until next year.

CYB: I just wish the back wasn't so low cut. The front is great looking.

Savasana softshell: The price is astounding. Yikes.

Trouser pants: Enough said

Ebb to street tank: I saw another woman wearing it in plum and it looked great on. Of course, she was the instructor. Maybe it fits better than what I think. I'd like to see it in a store and try it on.

Overall, there was nothing that I thought I had to have. That's good because my wallet is getting emptier and emptier. Maybe that just means next week with rock!

Group kick kicked my butt today

Actually, my right knee. In addition to the left hip flexor/inner thigh issue going on, my knee is sore. I now know that two tabata classes in one week is too many. Of course I can modify all the movements, but that is so hard for me. So, tomorrow if I can get moving fast enough, I'm going to take a barre class. Has anyone done one before? I just noticed a few new barre studios open in the area, and thought that since I need a rest day,  this would be the perfect time to check it out. Fingers crossed.

It is a perfect fall day and the cyclists are out in full force. And the runners. And that is not me. So frustrating! But, that is the way it is.

Tonight's dinner is a favorite: tacos. I found a recipe on pinterest, of course, for a cheesy mexican rice and it was easy and delicious. The recipe called for long grain white rice, and next time I'll use brown. When it is all thrown together, we won't even notice. This is the link

http://www.sarapliciouskitchen.com/2011/03/cheesy-mexican-rice.html?m=1

Mine didn't look quite that scrumptious, but it was good and the recipe is a keeper. Check it out.

My daughter said I need an intervention

and that I have too much Lululemon clothing. I tried to explain that I wear it every day and that some days are thin days and some days are not and that I do wear it all...well most of it, anyway. I have been selling some on Ebay to make room for new. And now she shares a lot of it to wear to dance. Oh if only we had the same size shoe. That being said, I just ordered the Cool Racerback *Ruffled Up in a size down. I really like the way it fits around the waist, but it is very long. It is good that it covers my rear, but before I cut any tags I think I need to see the smaller size. Has anyone else ordered down in this?

I did tabata again today and now know that two days is too much high impact for my body. Oh well. Time for plan B.

Last night for our treat night/dinner out we went to sushi and boy oh boy was it good. Certainly knowing that there is one night a week where we can eat a little less clean and have dessert keeps me going. Also, knowing that I'll be on vacation again is an added motivation, although last time my countdown fizzled out due to so many extenuating circumstances. I'm focused! Deadline in sight! Plus a birthday is coming up, so that is always depressing. And motivating.

Have a great Saturday. It feels like fall here and all the teenage girls and wearing their Ugg boots already. Say it isn't so!

On the way to Lululemon...oops...

I had to cut through Nordstroms. Well there is a reason they put shoes and cosmetics exactly where they do, because I stopped to try Chanel's  LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW SHEER COLOUR SPF 15. Wow. Is it better than the zillion other powders that I have? I don't know anymore.
I think I am going to get it, but I'll go through ebates.com to do that. Remember that link? If I'm going to spend 57 dollars (WHAT?), I want to get a percentage back. And Nordstroms is great, they will take it back if it isn't working out. Love Nordstroms.

And here is the manifesto Long shirt...I mean long sleeve. I just threw it on top of my Fast Track Tank. I guess I can put this on and then head to the grocery store on hot days. When else do you wear this? It is so sheer....Let me know how you wear this!

No Lululemon bra issues today!

No need to feel like a pretzel getting out of a sweaty bra today because I solved that problem by wearing the Fast Track Tank to hot yoga today. And yes, it got hot. I think primarily because there were so many bodies crammed into a little room. That's okay. And crow pose, one day you will be mine. Eagle pose (is that the one with arms all twisted?) reminds me a little of struggling to get out of a sweaty, sticky bra. I feel good, and my back feels a little looser. My hips, well that is a different story.

I got the ruffled forme jacket and it is hard to see in these pictures because there is so much black on black. The arms are very long, but it is fitted and tight like a define. I think I am going to keep it. I love the hint on the collar. Basically, it is black and that is fine for me. I just have to decide if it looks good on!

After class I shot over to the Lululemon store to return the awful Astro shorts and the 105 singlet in size 6. The "educator" didn't even know what that tank was. Huh? They also made a point of telling every customer that "the return policy is 2 weeks" and asking if "are we familiar with the washing instructions." Don't say we didn't warn you, right? Anyway, I tried on wunder under crops that I think were a ziggy pattern. I just wanted to see what my legs loooked like and if I could get away with it. The answer was yes, maybe, but they were see through, so the point was moot. The material was super soft and the fit was fabulous, but I couldn't bend over in them. Unfortunately, you can't tell from these pictures.

I did end up with the groove pants that I love. Of course they need to be hemmed, but that's okay because I don't plan on wearing them for a while. My old ones are very old and might not even look black! While they are not the fabric that I was hoping for, I think it is as good as it gets. I actually came from the gym and was wearing my old groove crops, so I could feel the difference. These new ones just don't have the same compression.

I also got the ruffled CRB. It fits very long and I don't particularly care for the cut in the front, but I liked it. I got my usual 8, but think a 6 might have worked better because there is some room around the waist. It also feels long. I might end up ordering it online. They were just unpacking them and selling them right away. I also picked up the manifesto tee in white. I was hoping to see the skirt in person and the CRB in ziggy. One of the women working there was wearing the CYB and it looked fabulous on her, but it dips too low in the back for me. She also tried the Ebb to Street tank and I heard her say it was the most comfortable thing ever. It looked like it was very clingy, so that was an easy pass for me. The full tilt in hyper stripe looked absolutely stunning, and if I thought there was a chance I would be running, I would have tried it. That's it! Looking forward to Tuesday already!

Today's tabata on Thursday

You know it is a good class when you go to take your bra off and it is stuck. Today I wore my old 50 rep bra, and I had to do the jump and twist. You all know what I am talking about, right? I think I also have problems with the Lululemon energy bra as well, but somehow I think the straps might make it a little easier. I have visions of having to call for help and it isn't pretty.

By the way, how come there is no updated We made too much? It is Thursday, right? I'm waiting!

I took a picture of what I wore today... old ruffled black CRB, mod moves crop, 50 rep bra, and just wasn't feeling it, so I'm not posting it. You have seen this outfit maybe a hundred times already anyway. I had a very upset stomach yesterday and am feeling bloated and a little out of sorts. I thought tabata would help. Ha! That is my excuse and I am sticking to it.

I am really enjoying power yoga. Yesterday the room got really, really steamy. Plus, it was 91 outside already. I can't believe how un-flexible I am. Especially around my hips, which is really no surprise. I am looking forward to it again tomorrow. It is difficult and yet calming, too.

I spent hours cooking jambalaya yesterday and it is sooo good. Can you tell we are missing my son who is in New Orleans? We are having leftovers forever. Although today's lunch is not the chunky monkey overnight oats that I have had every day, but leftover pesto meatloaf.

My other new favorite snack? Oikos Toasted Coconut Greek Yogurt. Oh my, if you like coconut, you are going to fall in love with this. Its 160 calories, and worth everyone. I didn't look at the sugar content, because I know sometimes this can be high in fruity greek yogurts, because I don't care!

I'm still waiting for Fedex with my ruffled forme jacket and then I have to go to the store and return a 105 singlet in the wrong size. I'm so bummed, because I ordered the pink singlet in 6 a few weeks ago and it is just too big, so I'm listing it on EBAY. I wish these would get uploaded!

Wild hair and a ta ta topper

Note to self... never take hair out of ponytail when humidity is ridiculously high after sweating through a Lululemon bangbuster. Yikes. It looks like I stuck my finger in a socket.

If anyone could have videotaped me watching Breaking Bad yesterday, they would have seen me with my jaw on the floor and my hands over my stomach. Wow! The week before Aaron Paul really stole the show, but Bryan Cranston's face, when he realized it was all over, was amazing. But is it really all over? Somebody better have gotten shot with all of those bullets flying. Best lines of the show? Fire in the hole, bitch. And don't drink and drive. But if you do, call Saul. OH  I love it. What am I going to do when this whole thing is over? Start back at Season 1, because I can't get enough of Walter White in his tightie whities.

I had a tiring workout and then was asked to do a 2 minute plank at the very end. What? I don't think so. My shoulders were ready to give out before my abs, because I did shoulder presses with 20 lbs. By the way, another woman at the gym was wearing the Rest less tank and it looked really good on her, but she is a size 2.

Latest Lululemon Upload

I ordered... are you ready for it...the new bangbuster in ziggy wee october, or whatever that name is. That's it. Some interesting items, but nothing that screamed my name.

Here are my two cents:

I liked the print on the Astro pants, but the waistband rolls on me or does something weird so that it never lays correctly, so that was an easy pass.

Anything urbanite was also a no. Don't know where I would wear any of that.

The skirt? I'd have to see it in person, but it looks pretty unforgiving. I don't think I would ever wear it as they intended, but in a solid color with the right top (not from Lululemon), and flip flops, maybe.

Dhyana short sleeve could be interesting, in the right color, and these two colors were not it. I would have to see it in person and feel it. I'm not a big fan of the bottom, though.

First base tank was tempting, as I have the black and grey from a few years ago and end up wearing it a lot. It is super soft and provides more coverage than CRB and isn't tight. I was hoping for a 105 singlet, so I will pass.

I actually love the new print on the Groove pant, but have to feel the pants. My groove pants from a million years ago are that thick, heavy, compressive material, and I think these might be the lighter. These are tempting, but would have to be hemmed for me, so I can wait for a store trip. And then I can do the bend-over test.

All set with energy bras, and I think I am a little sick of the plum. I don't have a lot that it could go with, so again, another easy pass.

I have inkwell still pants and wear them all the time... but never to work out in. They look dressy enough with the right top and often wear them to coffee and errands. These, too, would have to be hemmed, so I need a store trip.

I know everyone loves the scarf, but I don't know when I would wear it?

And then there is the mat... Oh, this is calling me.

So, I saved some money today. Woo hoo. Unfortunately, the puppy is jumping up and making holes in all my clothes, so I might need some new not-workout clothes. Any advice on how to stop it? She can only hold her sit a short time. Lots of treats work, but sometimes it is too late. She's 4 1/2 months today.

Rest Day and Cleaning Day. So really not a rest day!

My house is so dirty that I am definitely getting a workout cleaning and SCRUBBING. I hope this picture works, because it really made me laugh. I am trying very hard to come up with a schedule that I can stick to. I thought I would have the cleanest house once I stopped working, but thanks to our new four-legged friend, that just isn't happening. So since today is a rest day for me, I thought I would tackle some of the bigger jobs. The thing about cleaning is... it just gets dirty again!

MjAxMi1mZTA5MWI2YmMxNjNhZjU3.png

I'm hoping that tonight's Lululemon upload will include more of the 105 singlet. I don't think they have made it into any stores yet, and I"m not sure why. I'm anxiously awaiting my ruffle up forme jacket, although I have so much black, I'm not sure how I can justify this. I think it will be here Wednesday or Thursday. I'm still thinking Mat! The blue is gorgeous. I'm going to try to get to Power Yoga twice this week so I'll keep that in mind during downward dog. I think I am going to stay away from any pants, since I don't usually wear them to the gym, as long as I can pull my uggs up over my bare skin. I can't believe I just typed something to do with boots and snow and winter, but it is pretty chilly in my house right now, even though the forecast is warmer for the afternoon. Maybe the wunder under crops will come out with a new waistband, since that last color didn't do it for me. Although really, who sees the waistband anyway. I did see on Lululemonaddict.com a new bangbuster, and that might be hard for me to ignore. We'll see.

Wish I were running right now, but I'm trying to be good and let this hip flexor or inner thigh or groin injury heal. Whatever it is, it is I am frustrated! I'm smelling like windex instead of sweat. Which is worse?..... Which is worse, running past a restaurant that smells like fried onions or a truck's exhaust?

I should never take pictures from the back

Or the front! Yuk. But, it keeps me honest, knowing that they are "out there."
Here I am, again, in my Lululemon fast track tank, groove crops, Thor-lo socks, of course, and bangbuster. I feel like this is my uniform! I took Group Kick and then did some weights on my own, since I couldn't get the puppy, well me, really, moving for an 815 class. I think I sufficiently wore myself out, since I took a 15 minute nap today. My arms are a little tired, which is always a good thing, until I go to wash my hair and I realize how heavy they feel. Yesterday I got to Tabata, and it was the first time in 4 weeks. While the class absolutely kicked my butt, as usual, the only difference was I felt a little sore today. I think it was ten million jump squats that did the trick. It's a full week of school, so I have planned out my menus again, since it seems as if I always have to pick up or drop off someone at dinner. I think it is pesto meatloaf, baked ravioli, chicken with chipotle or jambalaya. Jambalaya might be too ambitious with the puppy into everything still. Lunch is still the chunky monkey overnight oatmeal, which I am still loving. There is such a breeze outside now that I just shut some windows. It certainly feels like fall! I hate to say it, did you notice that it is getting darker earlier. Off to watch the Womens Tennis Finals. Love the sound effects!

Not hot yoga

While my yoga class wasn't exactly what I was expecting, it was a lot of fun and I felt great during and after.  I have absolutely no flexibility anymore! And I don't know if I can ever get into crow. Why is that??? Help! There are two power yoga classes that are held at my gym and now that I have done both, I don't know which one I liked better. I'm not sure I can fit two into my schedule, without sacrificing major cardio/calorie burning and a second day of weights. Such decisions. What I do know, though, is I wore the Lululemon charcoal wunder unders and the waistband rolled the entire time. I guess I can only wear them when I am upright. When is that? Oh, on the boring elliptical.  Plus, the inner thigh is really pilled. I think I have worn them maybe 5 or 6 times. Well, it might be another pair of Lululemon clothing that is being "donated" to my daughter. (I just gave her the astro shorts. Lucky daughter!)

Tomorrow is killer tabata. I haven't been in about a month, because of vacation and college, so I totally expect to die. Of course, I feel that way anyway!

A woman in front of me today was using the Lululemon The Mat and she said she loved it and never slips. Is it worth the investment? Does lugging it to class count as a workout since it weighs a lot! I have  the Unmat, I think, and I throw it down for ab work or chest during Power. It is pretty thin and really doesn't provide a lot of cushioning. The only reason I like it is because it is full of MY sweat. I used that today on top of a cushy mat that the gym provided and it worked fine. Something to think about. I like to have things to think about. Anyway, here are the latest photos. With the Fast Track Tank, which I am debating about buying more of since it is on WMTM, but the colors don't really do it for me. At least right now, they don't do it for me. Maybe later!

Back in the swing of things

Vacation is over... school...homework... being a chauffeur again... leaves on my driveway. How could it be September already? Yikes.

I ran yesterday, if you could call it that, and had a lot of discomfort last night and today. I had taken a long break hoping that my leg felt better, but unfortunately, no. I'm seriously considering stopping running, since the pounding on my body is getting worse, but I just don't want to do that! Oh, I'm so sad! I might need to change the title of this blog!

I ended up returning the Dance Studio jackets, they were just too tight in the arms. I ended up with the Right as Rain jacket. It might be a little heavy for what I need, so I'm still on the fence. I really just want a shell for summer rain showers, but this might do the trick. I love my 105 singlet, but am torn with the size as I seem to be right in the middle of two. Such a decision. I also have to say how unhappy I am with the astro shorts. They looked great on and didn't ride up in the front, but I got the worst wedgie EVER.  I think I should be okay to wear them around, but I will never be able to workout in them. They were so uncomfortable. I couldn't resist the Forme ruffle jacket, even though I didn't like the first version of this jacket. I hope this is better! There were a lot of things in this latest upload that I could have bought, but I need to stay away from patterns on my legs. As much as I love the look, it doesn't love me. The Bliss Break hoodie is one of my favorites, but I think I am all set with hoodies for a while, since I have plum and grey. I find the scuba super tight and short and heavy. I have a yellow one, that my puppy put a whole in. Oh well. Many, many years ago, I used to wear the modern racerback and loved it. I can't tell from the photo and description if this is the same version. It was very soft and not tight, so I think that is why it worked for me. I'm not sure how I feel about ruffles along my bottom, on the CRB. I have the one from a few years ago that has ruffles around the collar, and I wear it all the time, as you probably see in pictures. Well, that's it for my review. HA. Tomorrow I am going to hot power yoga and am so excited. Is that pathetic or normal, you tell me! Do you ever get excited for classes? Dinner tonight is very easy...oatmeal since it is just me in the house. I might turn into oatmeal soon!
